This car has had the same owner for the last 35 years. It has been here in Monterey, CA for all that time. When we picked it up it had been sitting for a few years, but with a little work we got it back on the road. The body is very straight and free of any previous accidents. Very minimal rust on the car. Check out the video and see for yourself. The electric soft top is in great condition and working properly. The interior is in great condition. This Pontiac is powered by its original big block 400cc V8 paired with its original 4-speed manual transmission! It has power steering and front disc brakes. Mechanically it runs and drives great. The ride is smooth and sporty. This ultimate driving machine handles like it's on rails! The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. We replaced the gas tank, cap, wires, alternator, changed the oil and a few other miscellaneous items to get her running again. Engine purrs beautifully. We also did a compression test showing excellent results with roughly 160 psi in each cylinder. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. No grinding in any gears, and the clutch feels great. The brakes should be gone through, they stick a little bit. We replaced a few light bulbs and it should have working lights all around. Floors are in excellent condition, no previous rust work in the past. Very hard to find another Firebird like this one! NO NEED TO TAKE MY WORD Come inspect it AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.
