1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S Sport for sale! This S2000-powered 1985
Toyota Corolla GT-S Sport, VIN JT2AE88C1F0091221, is a legendary
AE86 build that combines iconic drift-car heritage with a highly
developed track-focused specification. Finished in white over a
stripped and caged gray interior, the car features a full J-Blood
wide body kit with vented carbon fiber hood, fiberglass front
bumper, front fenders, doors, molded rear flares, hatch, and rear
wing, complemented by East Bear aero mirrors, JDM front and rear
lights, JDM rear bumper, and ceramic-coated paintwork. The stance
is set off by bronze 15-inch Volk TE37V wheels wrapped in Toyo
Proxes R888R tires, with ventilated front discs and Wilwood
monobloc calipers, hydraulic handbrake, and an extensively upgraded
suspension that includes Ground Control front coilovers with Tein
camber plates, Tokico HTS shocks, TRD rear springs, Cusco front
tension rods, lower tubular control arms, heim-jointed four-link
and Panhard rod, and UEO-style outer tie rods paired with a manual
steering rack and power steering knuckles.Under the hood, power
comes from a Honda F20C 2.0-liter VTEC inline-four from an S2000,
breathing through TWM individual throttle bodies with a carbon
fiber airbox and velocity stacks, managed by an AEM Series 2 ECU
and Rywire harness, and supported by an aluminum radiator, Setrab
13-row oil cooler, ATL fuel cell, Billman timing chain tensioner,
and custom exhaust with Kakimoto R33 muffler. The engine is backed
by a six-speed manual transmission, one-piece driveshaft, and Cusco
RS limited-slip differential with 4.70:1 gearing, with the chassis
stitch-welded and the rear shock towers reinforced for added
rigidity and durability. Inside, the cabin is all business, with
twin Cusco/Bride Zeta III fixed-back bucket seats on Garage Star
rails, Schroth harnesses, full roll cage with door bars, Racebred
Components footrests, a hydraulic handbrake with extended handle,
and an S2000-sourced digital instrument cluster accompanied by AEM,
Speedhut, and GReddy auxiliary instrumentation set into a custom
aluminum center console. The digital odometer displays around 11k
miles but given the extensive modifications and track-focused
nature of the build, the true mileage is unknown and not
particularly relevant to its appeal or intended use. This awesome
S2000-powered AE86 was built by FFTEC Motorsports and represents a
rare opportunity to acquire a fully sorted, competition-ready
Corolla GT-S that is equally at home at shows, on track, or as an
extreme statement piece in a curated collection.
