This custom 1967 Resto-Mod Shelby GT500E fastback received a complete rotisserie restoration. The body began with a clean and rust-free bare metal real S-code fastback and was carefully reassembled. It has all the correct Shelby GT500E body modifications and accessories, and of course it wouldn't be complete without the custom "Go-Baby-Go" shifter with NOS bottle in trunk. This example was designed and created to be a perfect blend between the iconic Shelby 500GTE styling with an updated and modern driveline for improved performance. Under the hood sits a custom pro-built bored 427ci V8 engine with a fuel-injected Borla induction 8-stack throttle-body system with Holley Terminator X EFI management system, complemented by a custom-built 5-speed manual transmission. The engine features custom engine accessories including custom engraved Carroll Shelby valve covers and is fitted with a 2.5-inch exhaust system that exits through the side rockers and is cooled by an aluminum radiator. Stopping power is provided by large 4-wheel disc brakes. The underside of the fastback was prepared as meticulously as the top side. It rolls on Shelby GT500E-style polished wheels with Z-rated performance tires. It is professionally finished in Pepper Gray Metallic two-stage PPG exterior paint along with rich black Rally body stripes and multiple layers of clear coat over the top. The underside of the fiberglass hood and the shaved engine compartment are painted body color and are as flawless as the top side. The overall body gaps and alignment are excellent, and the scoops and custom body modifications were hand-fitted. Everything is correct down to the proper sequential taillights, stainless-steel billet-style sideview mirror and functional flip-up gas-filler lid. It also features a brand-new custom leather interior, console, custom hand-stitched Shelby door panels, a full custom digital gauge package, custom Shelby GT500 steering wheel, Bluetooth stereo and custom headliner. Show-ready LED lighting is featured the interior cabin, engine compartment and chassis area. All the accessories and lighting LED lights operate and function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. The car comes with 30x40-inch professionally framed and assembled "Gone in 60 Seconds" presentation of the official movie poster signed by cast members Angelina Jolie and Nicolas Cage.
