Vehicle Description
This unrestored survivor 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is powered by
the matching-numbers 350ci V8 engine mated to the original Super
T10 4-speed manual transmission. The 350ci was available in the
U.S. for the 1981 Z/28, but only with the automatic transmission.
As this Z/28 was a Canadian-sold car, it was able to be selected
with the 4-speed manual transmission. It also features the F41
performance suspension and GU4 3:08.1 posi-traction differential,
power brakes and power steering. This Z/28 even retains its
original exhaust and catalytic converter. Options include power
windows, rear-window defroster, AM/FM/cassette stereo, full
console, pulse-delay wipers, Sport steering wheel and tilt column.
This Camaro rides on four new tires mounted on the original 15-inch
color-keyed 15-inch wheels. This Z/28 was built in the Van Nuys,
CA, plant and sold new in Canada. It was judged at the prestigious
2010 Chicago Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, where it earned a
Concours Gold Award and a score of 958 out of 1,000 possible
points. The sale includes the Concours Gold Award and a binder with
key documentation, including the concours judging sheets, original
GM Build Sheet and other GM of Canada documents, as well as every
maintenance performed with recorded mileage. With 64,413 kilometers
(40,024 miles) (title reads exempt).
