Vehicle Description
This 1987 Ford F-350 has the bright blue dominating style that
might have you yelling, "Hey big foot!" But while the stature is
impressive, you'll also just appreciate the features and power that
make this 4x4 desirable for more than just its monster size.
The metallic blue is an instant attention-grabber. It's a clean
application where the radiant style shows off the well-creased body
lines that make this generation F-series such an imposing truck. Of
course, the huge lift, billet grille, carb running lights, and
awesome 20-inch white wheels make this quite aggressive, too. It's
such a cool total package that we're even told it spent some time
as a promotional tool for a dealership. So we bet you're thinking
about how memorable this one will be no matter if it's in your
driveway or in front of your business. Everything about this wants
to be bigger. That's why you have the beefy front bumpers, wide
fender flares, and double-hoop Baja bed bar with five KC lights.
But these additions also are quite functional. In fact, a pickup
with a fully lined long bed, and a proper trailer hitch can be
quite handy.
The side step plates are a nice addition to let you hop up into the
truck. There are some nice factory-style pieces like the bench seat
with a fold-down armrest, sliding rear glass, and floor shift for
the 4x4 transfer case. There are also some nice additions, like the
A-pillar readouts, AM/FM stereo with USB and Bluetooth, subwoofer
speaker system, tinted windows, and a durable garage-style floor
covering. There are even provisions for R134a air conditioning (it
will need servicing to blow cold again.
Under the hood is an awesomely upgraded powerhouse. It's a 408
cubic-inch stroker motor by the masters at BluePrint. It's said to
be rated at 425hp and 490 lb.ft. or torque. There's even a FAST
electronic fuel injection system to give you the best consistency
to go with the big power. There are even good supporting components
like a newer dual exhaust, upgraded pulleys, an MSD ignition, and
an aluminum radiator with electric fans. The off-road attitude is
more than just glamour muscles. The suspension includes dual Fox
shocks in the front, singles in the rear, and rear beefy radius
trailing arms. We're also told there are AAE custom driveshafts, 35
spline chromoly axles in front, and a 14-bolt Yukon Dura Grip
locker in the rear with 5.13 gears. The transmission is even a
Hughes Racing C6 three-speed automatic with a 2200 stall and
separate trans cooler. This truck may have a monster attitude, but
you still can drive it on the streets. After all, it's not on
tractor tires, but instead capable Mickey Thompson Baja Claw
rubber. And while we doubt this is going to be your new freeway
cruiser, it has a good feeling on the road that comes from a
quality build. Plus, with power steering and four-wheel disc
brakes, you'll easily drive to all the events you can handle on a
weekend.
Complete with build receipts, this is the powerful and capable
F-350 that has a true monster truck attitude. So it feels like the
most 4x4 fun you're going to have while still being able to hang a
license plate on the back. Call today!!!
