Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1949
Chevrolet 3100. The first major revamp since the war the advanced
design series was billed as a bigger better and sleeker design than
the AK series. This would be the first trucks to have any type of
comfort in mind. One thing is for certain and that is this truck is
not your grand dad's old farm truck. Here we have a '49 model. The
drivetrain consists of a 235 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder Chevy
engine. Built for durability, reliability, and longevity, these
235s were used in everything from dad's commuter bel-air to the
milk man's 3100 flatbed delivery truck! Like any real and classic
Chevy 3100 for sale, it's backed by a 3-speed manual transmission.
This 3-on-the-tree set-up is a blast to drive and will make all of
your friends jealous (That they're not cool enough to know how to
drive it.) Simplicity and functionality was key in the early 50s
and this truck surely fit the bill! The tan cloth interior really
compliments the truck well. With the wood bed, this truck is ready
to go to the show to pick up some trophies, grocery store to pick
up some groceries, or local hardware store to pick up some hay to
feed the horses. Ready for you, your buddies, and your dog, this
truck was built to drive! Built when trucks were trucks, not many
options were needed to get the job done. Leave the mani/pedi at
home because this truck wants nothing to do with it!
