Intro
This is a one owner 2020 BMW M2CS in Hockenheim Silver with black leather and approximately 14k miles. It has a twin-scroll-turbocharged S55 straight-six rated at 444 horsepower. The M2CS trim was only available as a 2020, but the M2 Competition continued to the 2021 model year to wrap up the F87 generation. It has the 6-speed manual transmission and lots of exterior carbon fiber. The seller added PPF, Ceramic coat, window tint and performance modifications for a weekend at the track. It was registered in Florida where it is currently located with a clean Carfax and title.
Exterior
The exterior paint is Hockenheim Silver metallic with a factory carbon fiber roof, carbon vented hood, carbon mirror caps, carbon front splitter, carbon trunk spoiler, carbon rear diffuser and quad exhaust tips with the M logo. The seller added full front and side rocker area PPF, windshield film, Ceramic coat, AP Racing by Essex Front Kit (9660), AP Racing by Essex Rear Kit, DS1.11 Pads and SRF, Millway Street Camber Plates, and Apex Stud Kit. For $3500 the seller will include original, virtually unused stock iron brakes; A Set of 18" Apex FL-5 square wheel set with 265 width Hankook Ventus RS4s with plenty of tread left. These wheels are only possible to use with the more compact brake kit. Although not shown, the original 19-inch 763M lightweight black wheels are available and in excellent condition.
Interior
The interior is upholstered in black leather with power adjustable sport front seats. The interior features plenty of carbon-fiber trim plus Alcantara for the steering wheel and shift knob. The M2 CS comes standard with a pair of USB ports, Bluetooth, voice control, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, voice control, and Apple Carplay matched to the standard 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.
Mechanicals
The M2 CS has the twin-scroll-turbocharged S55 straight-six that cranks out 444 horses, along with a prodigious peak torque rating of 406 lb.-ft. With only 13k miles this M2 has been religiously maintained with no engine modifications. When equipped with its track-oriented parts (shown in the pictures), the car was directly measured at 3425lbs with half a tank of gas and no driver. A 2023 M2, despite similar claimed power and torque, weighs substantially more!
Imperfections
Imperfections in car exterior are limited to small debris pings to frontal areas (PPF) and behind rear wheels (no PPF). Underside of front lip (PPF) has minor scrape marks.
Summary
This 2020 BMW M2 CS has low miles and is optionally configured for weekend track use. It is the original Hockenheim silver metallic with black leather interior and more engaging 6-speed manual transmission. The M2CS trim was only available as a 2020, but the M2 Competition continued to the 2021 model year to wrap up the F87 generation. The 2020 M2CS marks the last production year for this version of the M2 with fewer than 600 made for the U.S. market and is sure to be a collector item.
