Vehicle Description
This custom 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door post is powered by an LS2
V8 engine paired with a TREMEC T56 6-speed transmission.
Additionally, it has a Quick Performance 9-inch differential with
3.89 ratio, Eddie Motorsports serpentine fan belt drive, Griffin
radiator, SPAL electric cooling fans, BRP full-length header and
Flowmaster mufflers. It has undergone a professional body-off
restoration and is finished in Pacific Blue Metallic. Stopping
power is provided by Baer 6-piston 4-wheel disc brakes, with
14-inch drilled and slotted rotors aided by a Wilwood master
cylinder. It rides on custom air-ride suspension and 2-inch drop
spindles and rolls on 20-inch Billet Specialties Bonneville-S
wheels. The air-ride suspension comprises of dual ViAir compressors
with a 5-gallon aluminum air tank. The interior features an OEM
reproduction interior and carpet with Dynamat insulation, power
steering, Vintage Air climate control, Ididit tilt steering column,
vintage tachometer, AutoMeter sport comp gauges, Rally sport
steering wheel and under-dash air-ride controls. This Bel Air was
the Billet Specialties catalog cover car and was featured in Chevy
High Performance Magazine.
