Vehicle Description
1965 BUICK SKYLARK GS 401 NAILHEAD V8 FACTORY AC BUCKETS CONSOLE
Buick GS has a non-matching 401 Nail-head V8, 2 speed power glide
automatic, buckets seats, console, and factory AC. Runs and drives
and has been yard driven. There is no apparent rush and frame is
solid. New Clear Coat, Base Coat paint done in original color, (red
with parchment interior). New carpet, headliner, sail panels,
package tray, windshield, dash cover (original pad has some cracks
but has a cover over it), new gas tank, sending unit and newer
shocks. Car is a factory air-conditioned car and everything is
hooked up but will need attention to blow cold, maybe just a charge
don't know. Car is stock right down to the hub caps as far as I can
tell. Engine runs good and has a 2 speed power glide transmission
that shifts as it should. Door panels, seat covers and dash pad are
original and are in street-able condition, at some point in time
they should be worked. All new door rubber, with new upper door
glass seals and new trunk rubber seal. All lights and directionals
work, new windshield wiper arms and blades. Car was ordered from
the factory with power steering power drum brakes and air
conditioning. Has the original exhaust manifolds. Car was built in
direct competition to the Chevelles and GTO's of that era, but this
one is priced far less than those cars and was just as fast if not
faster. All chrome is installed and in good shape. Car is a real
head turner!! Not too many of these cars are left so you don't see
them in this shape very often. Look over the numerous pictures and
car speaks for itself. We have yard driven the GS and runs, stops,
steers and it should. Not highway tested. A running driving
collectable and a great investment Please Note The Following
