For Sale: 1964 Chevrolet Impala in Battle Ground, Washington

Vehicle Description

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala restomod has been with the seller for 20 years and is powered by a Chevrolet Performance Parts ZZ383 383cid V8 crate engine connected to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. It comes equipped with custom one-piece bumpers, staggered-diameter American Racing wheels, new upholstery, AutoMeter gauges, Hedman headers, power front disc brakes, and Flowmaster mufflers. Finished in Platinum Pearl over a charcoal vinyl and gray cloth interior, this Impala comes with a clear title in the seller's name.

As part of a series of updates and customizations, the body was refinished in Platinum Pearl with pinstriping. Exterior features include custom one-piece chrome bumpers, quad headlights, bright trim, and six taillights. The seller notes a couple of minor chips on the front of the car and a small rust bubble on a rear wheel well above the tire.

This Impala has been lowered on a set of 18-inch front and 20-inch rear American Racing Hopster polished aluminum wheels and 235/40ZR18 front and 295/30ZR20 rear Toyo tires.

According to the seller, the cabin has been furnished with new upholstery, which includes the charcoal vinyl and gray cloth seat covers with turquoise piping, headliner, and charcoal carpeting with matching custom floor mats. It comes equipped with a Billet Specialties steering wheel, front bucket seats, a rear bench seat, an aftermarket stereo with a trunk-mounted amplifier and subwoofer, a center console, and manual windows. The seller points out that this car is not equipped with air conditioning.

The AutoMeter gauges include a speedometer that shows 100,000 miles, but the true mileage on this car is unknown. The seller states they have put 1,500 miles on the car during their ownership.

Inside the body-color engine bay, the original inline-six engine has been replaced with a Chevrolet Performance Parts ZZ383 383cid V8 crate engine. That has been equipped with a custom-made air intake, an aluminum radiator with electric fans, and an Optima Redtop battery with a custom cover. The engine routes power to the rear wheels through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. An oil change was completed in December 2022.

The engine breathes through Hedman ceramic-coated headers and Flowmaster Super 10 series mufflers. Braking is performed by power front discs and rear drums.
