1964 PONTIAC GTO-THE ORIGINAL MUSCLE CAR! PHS DOCUMENTED,
TRI-POWER, 4-SPEED, FRAME-OFF RESTORATION This 1964 Pontiac GTO
shows really well in its factory color, code V Grenadier Red. It
has excellent fit and finish. All of the trim is excellent. Up
front, the bumper has been re-chromed, the grills and headlight
bezels have been polished as well as the hood scoops and hood
emblem! All the stainless around the windows and doors have been
polished to show quality. In the rear, the bumper has been
re-chromed. The rear tail panel has been completely restored. All
of the window seals and weather stripping have been replaced
including the vent window seals. It also sports its original
spinner hubcaps. The engine compartment is highly detailed with its
date coded, completely rebuilt 389 ci tri-power motor. It has
correct GM hoses, tower clamps and factory spring type battery
cables. It also features power brakes, power steering and a correct
4-core radiator with a correct fan shroud. Everything is painted
and restored to look correct. The interior has been completely
restored from the headliner to the carpet. The seats have new
cushions and have been re-upholstered. It has all new door panels,
armrest bases and pads, window cranks and door handles. Looking at
the dash, it is completely restored. The lenses are crystal clear,
all the gauges look new and even has the optional tachometer,
factory steering wheel has been restored to new condition and has a
retro AM/FM radio. The underside is all clean metal. Looking up at
the bottom of the motor-it is clean. Everything under the car has
either been rebuilt or restored and detailed. Up front, all the
components look new-bushings, shocks, ball joints, etc. It has
newer fuel and brake lines. In the back, it has new body bushings,
shocks, springs, gas tank and straps. It has a 3:55 posi rear end
and a dual exhaust that runs all the way out the back with factory
style mufflers. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. The
trunk is detailed and painted the same as the exterior. It is
complete with a factory trunk mat, spare tire and jack assembly.
This is the one that started it all-the 1964 GTO!! Not only does it
look awesome but it functions just as well!! Excellent investment!!
