Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1960 Buick LeSabre
Four-Door Hardtop, a nicely-restored example finished in two-tone
Titian Red and Arctic White (the cowl tag confirms these to be the
original factory colors). This is a well-optioned Buick with power
steering, power brakes and a 364 cubic inch V8 mated to a Dynaflow
automatic transmission. Paint, body, trim and glass present to a
nice standard and the underside is tidy with no known structural
rust issues. The pillarless hardtop design with a wraparound rear
window provides 360 degree panoramic views from inside (which means
no blind spots). Original wheels with hubcaps in good condition are
wearing Coker Classic wide whitewall tires.
Interior presents well with good seat upholstery, door panels,
carpets, dash, headliner and steering wheel. Two sets of floor mats
are included in the truck (both carpet and rubber). Stock and
unmolested aside from a modern stereo that tastefully fits in the
original dash opening and uses original-style knobs. All lights and
indicators are working as they should, including the speed sentinel
(which sounds a buzzer if you exceed the preset speed).
Under the hood is a 364 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor
mated to a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Stock aside from a
conversion from a generator to an alternator for more efficient
charging. This LeSabre starts easily and runs and drives well.
Under enthusiast ownership since 2016. We are not aware of any
needs except to be enjoyed by its new owner.
These 1960s Buicks exude so much style - from the ribbon-style
speedometer to the canted tail fins, it's certainly an incredible
amount of car for the money. For more information about this 1960
