48 Cadillacs are rare as it is, and to find one that has been
massaged like this is really rare. It is very street-able with
massive power from a big block engine, great handling with the Fat
Man front end, power steering, and 4-wheel power disc brakes, a
custom interior, and a great exterior presentation.
Mechanical
Our Caddy has a brand new Jegs 502 cubic inch big block Chevrolet
engine shoehorned into the show quality engine compartment. It has
an aluminum intake, performance 4-barrel carb, twin snorkel air
cleaner with a chrome lid, Chevrolet polished script valve covers,
the addition of air conditioning, headers, improved electronic
ignition system, chrome alternator, and a performance pulley
system.
The performance parts don't stop there as it also has a modified
suspension consisting of an aluminum radiator with an electric fan
keep the engine cool, a Fat Man front end, rack & pinion power
steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, a 700R4 automatic overdrive
transmission, and an 8.8 Ford posi 3:73 ratio rear end while riding
on 17" polished aluminum wheels with black sidewall tires all
around.
Interior
The drop-dead good looking custom saddle leather interior consists
of twin front power bucket seats with headrest, matching rear seat,
console with light-up drink holders, and door panels, a chrome tilt
steering column with a billet steering wheel, power windows, tinted
glass, front & rear air conditioning, and an AM/FM/DVD/TV stereo
system.
Exterior
This 1948 Cadillac Fastback is painted a nice 3-foot deep black
paint job that looks very rich against the chrome bumpers,
beautiful grill, Cadillac emblems and side trim, chrome trim
splitting the front windshield, side gills, and that great hood
ornament.
