Show quality and lots of upgrades on this 55 Nomad. It was frame off restored several years ago and still looks fantastic! Wonderful colors and it has a nice stance with 20" American Racing Wheels. It also has the right kind of upgrades like front disc brakes, EFI Fitech fuel injection etc.
Exterior: Very desirable colors and body style. Brand new 20" American Racing wheels with Bridgestone tires. 265/35-20. It is straight and the paint is like a mirror all the way down to the rockers. I had it on the lift and inspected it. I was really impressed.
Interior: It still has the vintage stock looking interior and it gives you the impression of a maximum 2 year old car. The cushion in the seat feels brand new. The dash is arrow straight and was proffesionally pained. Factory steering wheel on a tilt steering column. It has the correct head liner nicely redone. Carpeting and fire wall insulation is impressive. The glass is nice but it is showing it's age a little bit.
Engine: Smooth running 350 Crate engine. It is equipped with a FiTech fuel injection system on top of an aluminum intake. It has a factory looking Be Cool radiator, and there is an added oil cooler for the transmission. It has power brakes with dual lines. Power steering pump and water pump looks brand new, and is driven by belt pulleys. Newer wiper motor as well
Underside: Underneath it is exceptionally clean and has red oxide primed floors. I can't see any patch panels. Both rear quarters appears to be original to the car. The frame has been cleaned up and painted satin black. Custom made exhaust with 2,5" pipes and custom mufflers. In front it has drop spindles with disc brakes. Underside of the motor looks clean. It has a power master ultra torque mini starter. Upgraded to TH400 3-speed Auto. It has a performance built Currie rear end.
Trunk area: Very nice Clean metal under the carpeting, and in the spare tire well. The tail gate is straight and rock solid. The tail gate click shuts!
