Classic Car Addict is now offering this 1969 Ford F100 Ranger for
sale in our Mesa showroom. The fifth generation of the Ford
F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and commercial trucks that were
produced by Ford from the 1967 to 1972 model years. Built on the
same platform as the fourth generation F-series trucks, the fifth
generation had sharper styling lines, a larger cab, and expanded
engine options including the Cobra Jet 428. The familiar Wimbledon
White and Chrome Yellow finish doesn't appear to be original. This
is a driver, not a show queen. The way trucks like this should be.
Ford wasn't flashy in 1969, this was a working man's tool, not a
fashion statement; so, it was attractive but not over-done. The
bodywork is straight, the panels line up, and the bed is in decent
shape. The chrome and stainless trim give the upscale Ranger its
more sophisticated look. A good-looking grille (a rare find for the
'67-69 F-100s), chrome bumpers that show true age, and a tailgate
with big bold FORD lettering ties it together. The gray vinyl bench
seat looks fresh with new black carpet and new black dash pad. The
gauges illuminate with a blue hue and are in working order. Radio
does not work. Under the hood is a 428 Cobra Jet attached to a
three-speed C6 automatic transmission. This is a factory AC truck,
does not blow cold. This Ford features power steering, power
brakes, and aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. This 69 Ford
F-100 Ranger is ready to go to work. We provide transport to your
driveway - Ask a Classic Car Addict specialist for more details.
