Vehicle Description
This 1961 Chrysler 300G is one of only 337 of these convertibles
produced. It is powered by a 413/375hp HEMI V8 engine with a
Cross-Ram dual carburetor, Hot Cams camshaft and solid lifters, all
mated to a push-button automatic transmission. This Chrysler is
from the last year these vehicles were produced with tail fins and
is what many collectors and enthusiasts consider to be the last of
the great 300 "Letter Series" cars made. It is flamboyantly styled
inside and out, with canted headlights on the exterior, front and
rear leather bucket seats, and a dashboard highlighted by an
Astradome instrument panel inside. The dramatic styling of this car
is set off by a set of Chrysler wire wheels with wide whitewall
tires. The original steel wheels and covers are also included in
the sale.
