Vehicle Description
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 underwent an older rotisserie
restoration. It is powered by a matching-numbers, one-year-only
351ci Windsor V8 engine mated to a date-code-correct FMX 3-speed
automatic transmission and date-code-correct posi-traction Ford
9-inch rear end. The engine is equipped with a dual exhaust, and
the original carburetor was replaced with a 4-barrel Edelbrock
carburetor, with a Motorcraft 4300 carburetor included in the sale.
The points have been replaced with electronic ignition and the
transmission cooler lines and fuel lines have been replaced with
braided hoses. Chrome valve and air filter covers were added to
dress up the look, with the old covers included as well. During
restoration this car received a new fuel tank, new radiator, new
driveshaft, ball joints, sway bar bushings, shocks and leaf
springs. Stopping is provided by power front disc brakes, and the
rear brakes were also upgraded to discs. The hood is blacked out
with new hood pins and features hood scoop turn signals. This
Mustang is finished in Grabber Green with a black interior. It
features an upgraded retro-appearing stereo with Bluetooth
capabilities, and the rim-blow steering wheel was replaced with the
sport model steering wheel, with the original wheel included in the
sale. This vehicle was updated to ride on U.S. Mags Rambler wheels,
with its Firestone wide oval tires and Magnum 500 wheels also
included in the sale.
