Vehicle Description
This 2002 Chevrolet ZL1 Phase III supercar is powered by a Phase
III C5R 427ci V8 engine making 600hp paired to a 6-speed manual
transmission. The engine is equipped with a Callies 4340 forged
crankshaft, Callies 4340 forged connecting rods, JE lightweight
pistons with file fit rings, CNC ported LS6 heads, an engraved
Wilson ZL1 intake manifold, Hi-Flow mass air-flow housing and
1-7/8-inch ceramic-coated headers with electric cutouts. Additional
features include a cat-back chambered exhaust with stainless-steel
tips and a carbon-fiber type air-box lid. These vehicles were
ordered and built as B4C police cars under the Chevrolet COPO
program, and further completed by GMMG, Inc. This limited-edition
car is #55 of 60 produced by GMMG, Inc., and is one of 31 built
with the Phase III C5R race engine. It sits on front and rear
1.5-inch Eibach lowering springs with PS-7540Sa series
double-adjustable Penske racing shocks, special front and rear sway
belts, 1LE front and rear upper and lower control arms, underdrive
pulleys and belts, as well as a Panhard bar. Stopping power is
provided by Z06 front and rear calipers with Corvette pads and
slotted Z06 rotors. The exterior features a GM SS hood with an SS
spoiler, hood, roof and decklid stripe, along with 600hp decals.
The Charcoal Metallic grille features the 1969-style Bowtie emblem,
with signatures under the hood from GMMG builders and other 2002
ZL1 owners. The rear panel is painted black with high-polished
stainless-steel Camaro letters. Additionally, it features a GM
power antenna and rearview mirror with a compass, temperature
reader and an automatic dimmer, keyless remote entry with
illuminated interior features and a theft-deterrent alarm system,
white Hurst shift ball with a short-throw shift stick and a
cloisonne HP/TQ dash plaque. Special emblems have been placed
throughout the exterior, interior and engine bay, with a GMMG
bronze tag inside the door jamb to verify the authenticity of this
car's build history. It also features a GMMG numbered door jamb
plate, and ZL1 car numbers on the front windows and rearview
mirror. Included in the sale is the original Window Sticker, ZL1
