1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee is powered by its original, # 's
matching V-code 440-6pk engine, backed by a non-original but date
correct HD 727 Torqueflite 3-spd automatic transmission and the
original Dana 60, 4:10 geared Sure Grip rear. Painted in gorgeous
code GB5 Bright Blue Metallic 9 (also known as B5 Blue), one year
only Charger Hardtop dubbed the Super Bee (previously they were
Coronets). This car was once part of the Otis Chandler collection
which says something about the car's condition and provenance. Well
optioned for a 6pk car. Options include RAM Charger hood (carb
fresh air package), Elastomeric Colored Front & Rear Bumper
Package, Left remote control & right manual painted racing mirrors,
Front and Rear Spoilers, Bucket Seats w/Console, 4:10 Super Track
Pak package, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Steering Cooler,
26' Radiator w/Fan Shroud, AM/FM Radio w/Rear Seat Speaker, 15'x7'
Rally Wheel w/Trim Ring, and Tinted glass. The car has never been
used as a daily commuter since its restoration. The body was in
outstanding condition to start with, wearing flawless paint w/
super straight original body panels all around. After lathering the
car in its factory correct B5 Blue paint, it was then buffed &
polished to a brilliant shine, as were the black stripes. All of
the chrome, grille, stainless-steel trim, emblems, etc., are in
show quality condition. From the headlights up front, to the rear
spoiler in back, this car looks factory fresh in every way. She has
a perfect stance and sits on original 15" x 7" Mopar Rallye wheels
wrapped in reproduction Goodyear Polyglas GT bias ply tires. You
can walk around this car a hundred times, and it looks perfect from
every angle. The undercarriage is beautifully detailed as well, w/
glossy painted floor metal and correct components throughout. When
you open the driver's door, you will find a beautiful black vinyl
bucket seat interior w/ console in outstanding original condition
from front to back.
