Vehicle Description
This 1930 Packard Standard 8 733 Dual-Cowl Phaeton is a
well-maintained vehicle that is the product of an older
restoration. It is powered by a 319ci Straight-8 engine mated to a
4-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is equipped with a donut
chaser radiator ornament, a stainless-steel radiator stone guard
and an exhaust deflector. It also features a Pilot Ray driving
lamp, twin spotlights, front wind wings, a rear seat windshield
with folding wind wings to protect the passengers from the elements
and twin rear-mounted spare tires. This example is finished in
light green with dark green fenders and accents. It rides on wire
wheels that are painted to match the body color and carry the
whitewall tires. The rear windshield can slide down two pillars for
comfortable storage behind the front seat. This Packard's interior
is upholstered and trimmed in tan, with passengers protected by a
new Haartz cloth top, that, when combined with Packard's
distinctive extended front, creates a visor above the windshield.
