Vehicle Description
This matching-numbers 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was purchased from
Sun Valley Ford in Concord, CA, in May 1969. In the early '70s, a
factory OEM Shaker hood assembly was purchased new from Ford and
then was installed possibly during the time of a factory recall. In
2014 the car was shipped to Semo Mustang in Missouri to provide a
refresh for what was needed after the car had been sitting. The
refresh cost $22,000 and the receipts are included from Semo
Mustang. In September 2021 the car was shipped to Ken Maisano of
MASCAR Classics in Costa Mesa, CA. Maisano went through the car,
replaced gaskets and rebuilt the carburetor. The car has been
sitting in a climate-controlled garage and driven monthly to keep
it exercised. The sale comes with the original sales receipt and a
letter from the original owner confirming the car was 100% original
when he purchased it in 1981. With 26,302 miles (title reads
exempt).
