This 1979 Pontiac Firebird was restored in October 2022 and has
approximately 100 test miles. The car was completely disassembled
with every part cleaned, repaired and painted as necessary. The
frame and unibody were degreased, power-washed and then painted
with chassis-saver paint. This black and gold T-Top Trans Am was
not born an SE; it is a re-creation. It is powered by a correct
code PWH non-matching-numbers 1979 Pontiac 400ci engine with the
correct date code for the year 6X-4 cylinder heads. The engine has
a mild COMP camshaft with a true dual X-pipe exhaust with chrome
splitter exhaust tips. The transmission is a BorgWarner super T10
manual 4-speed. It is also equipped with WS6 suspension and 4-wheel
disc brakes. The interior door panels are finished in Camel Tan. **
