1965 Buick Skylark Gran Sport A mid-year option was the Skylark
Gran Sport, an option package offered on the two-door coupe, Sport
Coupe and convertible. A 401-cid V-8 that produced 325 hp at 4400
rpm was the heart of the option. It had a 10.251:1 compression
ratio and a single Carter AFB four-barrel carburetor. A heavy-duty
crossflow radiator and dual exhaust manifolds with oversized pipes
were included. Exterior identification was provided by red-filled
Gran Sport badges on the grille, deck and roof quarters (rear
fenders on convertibles). Another badge was affixed to the
