Yes the price is correct and if you are laughing at it you did not
look at this car very close. You can call it a barn find or a
survivor or just plain rare. But we call it all three. Lone Star
Muscle Cars has come across this one owner and yes, I have the
California pink slip and yes, it is pink. This 1968 Camaro
Convertible was special ordered from the LA Plant and as you can
see, it has some weird options. First off it is in a low production
color--Fathom Blue with a powered white top. Also included on this
car is factory air which, back in the day, was unusual on a
convertible. Not to mention that production of convertible models
was low that year. This car also features power drum brakes, a
275HP 327, power glide automatic transmission, AM radio, factory
bucket seats with column shift and the original hub caps. Except
for the upgraded distributor, fan clutch and wearable stuff like
tires and battery, this car is the way it left the factory in 1968
and drives like a dream and there's only 70K original miles on the
numbers-matching driveline. The floors are solid but full
disclosure here... there is rust on some outer sheet metal in the
lower panel. The rockers are solid and as she sits, this car can be
driven anywhere right now. The body seams are tight and straight,
and the doors close as if they were new. This is a car you must see
in person to appreciate its' rarity and condition, after all it is
55 years old. Contact Lone Star Muscle Cars at 940-691-1070
