Zoom Classic Cars presents this highly original 1970 Pontiac Trans
Am Ram Air III coupe with 115k miles. Sold new in San Jose, CA, and

this numbers matching car features the 400CI/345 HP engine, coupled
to the original, numbers matching M20 wide ratio 4 speed manual
transmission and 12 bolt axle with 3.73 gear ratio. Engine built
with Pontiac's well-regarded, high-flow No. 12 head castings, with
2.11/1.77-inch valves and comparatively large 72cc combustion
chambers. It also featured a block with four-bolt mains. 1 of 1,769
with 4 Speed & Ram Air III. Polar White paint in overall excellent
condition with a few minor imperfections as shown. Desirable black
interior in excellent condition. 15 inch correct coded JW Wheels.
This car is equipped with Power Steering and brakes, low back
bucket seats, instrument panel with Trans Am only Tachometer, Ram
Air functional Shaker scoop and single year black shift knob.
Interior of the car is very clean with no rips or tears in the
upholstery. Undercarriage is also very clean and features dual
exhaust that sounds incredible. The second generation F-Body
Firebird is much sought after because of its automotive design and
combination of power. GM design chief Bill Mitchell had an affinity
for European cars and that can be seen on the 70 Firebird with its
longer nose and fast sloping rear profile, a real head turner with
essentially the same dimensions of the 1969 model. Owner notes that
there is some minor spider cracking of paint on the nose. The 1970
Pontiac Trans Am is an appreciating classic that is going to keep
increasing in value and collectability. Take note of the one that
sold on BaT in March for $171K! Stored in MA and properly
maintained by the current owner with clean title and comes with PHS
documentation and build sheet. Please call Jeff for more
information or to schedule an appointment to see this great
Pontiac. Thanks for looking.
