Interior Featured here is a spectacular custom GM Square-body
pick-up. This truck started life as a 1983 GMC C1500 before it was
skillfully transformed into this smooth cruiser you see here. The
orange finish has been professionally applied over well executed
body work. The paint was carefully polished and finished to a deep
luster that almost looks like you could reach into it. The door
handles, tailgate latch, side marker lights and rear taillights
have all been shaved and filled. There is a custom LED taillight
setup for the brake, marker lights as well as turn signals tucked
in between the tailgate and custom rear roll pan. The rear trunk
bed has been skillfully modified using original steel corrugated
flooring to accommodate the drop, but maintains a stock look and
feel. The bed is covered with a custom tonneau cover that is clean
and tucked inside the bed rails. The front end has been treated to
a custom tube style grille and paint treatment with a new chrome
bumper and stainless-steel grille frame. Overall, the truck
maintains a smooth flowing feeling that gives a softened effect to
the angular lines that are characteristic of the design of GM
Squarebody style pick-up. Inside the tan and orange interior
continues the theme of well-crafted custom fabrications blended
with the classic factory styling cues. The door panels have been
covered with matching tan upholstery to the custom covered bucket
seats. At first glance these panels look stock but then you notice
the armrest has been shaved and a body color matching insert has
been installed yet still incorporates the factory inner door handle
and window crank. A custom fiberglass console is painted body color
and incorporates the speakers for the sound system and suspension
air gauges. The dash remains stock with air suspension controls
fabricated in along with a Pioneer AM/FM Super Tuner with AUX input
for MP3 and related mobile music input. A Grant GT wood rimmed
steering wheel caps the steering column and adds a richness to the
interior which is completed with the medium brown carpet and the
dash pad recovered in tan leather with stitched seams and a brushed
aluminum insert. Under the hood is clean and has been lightly
detailed in chassis black. The 350 CID V8 features chrome valve
covers and chrome open air element air cleaner and power is
transferred to the rear differential via a 700R4 4-speed automatic
transmission. The inner fender wells have been removed to
accommodate the lowering of the suspension and to clear the larger
wheel and tire arrangement. Underneath the suspension has been
modified with a fully adjustable air ride system. By Z-ing and
sectioning the rear of the frame to clear the rear differential
when the truck is lowered. The Air Ride compressor and tank are
concealed and accessible through a custom panel in the bed. This
truck features power steering and power front disc brakes with rear
drums. The exhaust flows through a set of tube headers into dual
exhaust pipes and glass pack mufflers that dump before the rear
axle. The combination rolls on polished aluminum rims with very low
profile radial tires. This custom GMC Squarebody is very clean and
will be sure to attract attention as you cruise low and slow down
