Vehicle Description
This 1985 Chevrolet Corvette is all about making you say "Wow!"
That's the reaction to the enhanced fuel-injected V8, custom paint,
custom body, and the fact that all of it comes at such an
affordable price.
Let's start with the paint and body because it's instantly going to
draw crowds. The coupe's sharply pointed lines get a few new angles
thanks to the eight-piece body kit - including a big rear spoiler.
It's all wrapped in a high-quality respray of the factory-correct
Medium Gray Metallic. So it makes all the additions look uniform.
And speaking of uniform, these earlier C4s had a black strip that
hugged the waistline. And when you add in the deeply tinted windows
(including the glass targa top) and the black Grand Sport-style
wheels, this has an almost two-tone kind of appearance. It's a
clean and striking total presentation. You will find some signs of
responsible enjoyment, but as you look over the loaded interior and
an awesome engine upgrade, you also understand this custom Corvette
was made to be driven.
While this car is upgraded on the outside, the interior keeps the
stock and user-ready style that made the C4 Corvette such a great
driver's coupe. That means a long list of desirable features like
cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power
mirrors, power seats, and a premium AM/FM/cassette stereo system.
The body-hugging leather bucket seats are great for the driver, and
you have the right standard features, like the digital readouts and
a dual-spoke sports steering wheel on a tilt/telescopic steering
column.
The engine bay is quite distinctive with the bright Watson Ruppel
Performance valve covers, and that's your first clue that you're
looking at something special. This is a 383 cubic-inch stoker motor
that was balanced and blueprinted. It was further enhanced and
fortified with a Scat crank, HP Thunder heads, a Comp Cams Xtreme
Energy hydraulic roller camshaft, Dart valves, and ARP bolts. While
that's a bit of old-school hot rodding, this Corvette also keeps
its more modern nature with electronic fuel injection and an
upgraded computer chip. The result is an estimated 425-450
horsepower from the build! We have a comprehensive list/receipt
from Watson documenting the build from around 2006. It's a
well-maintained package, but you can also likely give it some
tuning for your ideal setup. Regardless, it's a lot of fun from day
one because you have plenty of extra power to go with the well-done
C4 setup. That means a four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive, power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a
fully independent sports suspension.
This is a cool and custom Corvette that gives you true distinction
for quite a nice price. Call today!!!
