Vehicle Description
This 1993 Ford Mustang GT is the kind of coupe that's built for
fun. It has cool/classic GT styling on the outside and a loaded A/C
interior. Plus, the fuel-injected V8 has been upgraded for added
power, including nitrous!
This is like the greatest hits of a Fox Body Mustang. The full GT
body kit, five-spoke alloys, louvered tail light covers, and
well-integrated rear spoiler define this generation. This even
looks like the factory white paint with a sporty red stripe
encircling the whole car. It really has the right classic look for
a Fox Body GT, and so we like it looking so stock. You can
certainly use the value price to improve/personalize, but since
this is the final year for a legendary generation, it seems right
to look matured but respected. Plus, while it's hard to call a
Mustang GT fastback a sleeper, the level of power upgrades you'll
see as you dig a little deeper gives this coupe a bit of a cool
incognito style.
The full red interior is another great hallmark of this generation,
and so we like it looking so clean. The Hurst ratchet shifter is a
clear indicator of upgraded performance, but what you'll really
like is just how comfortable the whole setup is. A sunroof, power
mirrors, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input, and
cold-blowing air conditioning. The driver's seat is a comfy
well-bolstered bucket seat with power lumbar adjustments, and the
airbag steering wheel still gives you a good view of the full
gauges with large speedo and tach.
Under the hood is the 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8. The reason these
are so legendary is that they are hardy and love upgrades. So
there's been a solid investment in this one that includes a Cobra
intake, a BBK cross-brace, and BBK headers feeding the X-pipe dual
exhaust. There is even an upgraded cam that delivers better power
and helps with the terrific exhaust note. Plus, we bet you saw the
large nitrous bottle in the trunk that is plumbed to this mighty
V8. And because power is nothing without control, the four-speed
automatic transmission now has a manual valve body. But don't think
of this as a pure quarter-mile machine. There's an overall solid
feeling and idles nicely. So you can even use this for a fun
cruiser. That's why you also have power steering, power brakes, and
front discs.
Complete with the owner's manual packet, this is a fun Mustang
fastback. The value price is there in case you want to upgrade to
modern performance tires, restore the power windows, or any other
improvements/personalization you want. But we really like how this
one is already a fun classic with a power-pony attitude. So if you
find it irresistible, too, call today!
