History: This pristine example was purchases new in the State of Washington and has been on the NW all its life. Owned by a very meticulous collector it’s been very well maintained and it is obvious it has been babied since day one. The current owner is a collector and keeps all his cars to a high standard. Comes with books and records from new. Meticulously maintained and stored in heated garage.
Engine & Transmission: Strong 5.7 liter V8 produces 350hp and only has 39,868 miles since new. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Very dry and clean underneath. This car received anything it needed over its lifetime. Records on work done (see photos). It is obvious this car has been very well taken care of.
Body: Paint is in exceptional condition, body panels are all straight with no waviness. I took extensive photos to show the beautiful condition of this car (see detailed photos). No road blast or rock chips. Gaps are straight, rubber, chrome, glass are great, lenses are clear with no cracks. Bumpers are clean. Michelin tires look as new with 2018 date codes. The glass roof operates seamlessly and has the blue color looking from inside and black color on the outside. Make sure you see video.
Interior: Gorgeous black leather interior is very clean, nice door panels, I took detailed photos of the bottom of the doors to show the solid condition. A/C blows cold. Dash is very clean and steering wheel looks like it did when new. Seats are very comfortable. Dash instruments, Speedometer, temp gauge, gas gauge, volt meter and oil pressure all work as they should. Heads up display for the speedometer works as it should and after driving it for a few hours it feels like something every car should have. Mirrors are clean. Trunk is great, has tools. Rear hatch cover is clean and the trunk rubber is like new.
Summary: This iconic 2004 C5 Chevrolet Corvette has been preserved to a very high standard and is in excellent condition, it looks like it rolled off the showroom floor. Last year of the C5 (in my opinion its very advantageous to get the last year of a model run). The car can be taken to car shows on the weekend as well as cruised regularly during the week. The care that this car has received over the years is obvious and it is in collector quality. When you’re around this car in person you can tell it’s a good one.
