First manufactured in 1916 out of Detroit, Michigan, The Hudson
Motor Car Company produced an early performance car. Hudson made a
name for itself in speed and endurance trials in the day, and the
first generation Hudson were produced from 1916-1927. Of the second
generation, 1929 was Hudson's best sales year ever, with a combined
figure (including Essex) of over 300,000 cars produced. The number
propelled the company to third place in the automobile
industry.
This is an immaculate 1929 Hudson Super-Six coupe. Car was restored
within the last 10 years and has not slept outside since. Paint is
a primer gray and black combination with flawless chrome accents
inside and out. The gray interior is in perfect shape and is topped
off with a Rumble seat. Side mounted spare, Rear trunk.
This car has been consigned to the 8th Annual Salt Lake City
Classic Car Auction hosted by the Classic Car Auction Group. The
