Vehicle Description
**This is a One-Family owned vehicle from new, trading hands from
father (original owner) to son and daughter-in-law in 2002. These
second generation Firebirds were built late 1970 through 1981 and
would be offered in a 2-door coupe configuration only and the only
major complete restyling came for the 1979 model year featuring a
new aerodynamic front and rear end, bulkier side flared and grill
design. Furthermore in 1979, the optional 6.6 liter V8 was a
Oldsmobile 403 cubic inch engine. This excellent T/A we are excited
to have is a VanNuys, CA built car with factory A/C and a plethora
of other options. The A/C was converted at time of restoration and
blows cold. All the other gauges and lights work as well as they
are supposed to. This car was restored and re-painted over the
course of four years and over $20,000 from 2005 to 2010. Body on
restoration but engine and trans out. The car was originally
Heritage brown with camel tan interior. The interior is all new and
was re-done to its original glory. The exterior was repainted a
vibrant metallic gold and boy does it pop. This car comes with its
original window sticker, sales invoice, money received receipt,
which was $7,426.50 on Jan 20, 1979 from Neeb Motor Sales in Toledo
Ohio. It has its original build sheet along with copies and all
dealer paperwork. It also includes pictures of the restoration as
well as all invoices pertaining to said restoration. This T/A was
fitted with some period Craggar wheels but comes with its original
wheels as well including car cover. The mileage is believed to be
accurate based on the paperwork and testimony from the current
family owner. They purchased the car with around 48k miles on the
clock and have only driven it about 4k miles in over twenty years.
This car starts perfectly, idles as it should, shifts nicely,
brakes nicely and goes down the road strait and true. No funny
noises, shakes or smells. This car is worth the asking price in
story and paperwork.
