Factory options include power windows, power top, factory air conditioning, factory hood tach, power steering, power front disc brake, drum rear brakes, deluxe black bucket seat interior with center console, Rally II wheels, remote drivers side mirror, tinted glass, full size matching spare wheel/tire with jack and lug wrench, factory traction bar.
New parts throughout restoration include but not limited to: New seat covers, convertible top, windshield, driver mirror, chrome at top of windshield, front bumper and emblem, A/C evaporator, drier and condenser, complete brake system, booster, master, steel lines, rubber hoses, pads and rotors, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums. Full front suspension replaced, control arms, springs and ball joints. Original replaced parts were saved and included in sale.
Drivetrain includes Original 400 4V Engine which only required to be resealed and water pump replaced with heavy duty water pump. Original Turbo 400 rebuilt at time of restoration.
High performance upgrades include Fi tech fuel injection with controller, aluminum Edelbrock intake, MSD 6al ignition with MSD Pro billet Distributor. New clutch fan, New aluminum radiator, 60 Amp alternator, New stainless steel fuel tank, lines, etc. New rust free factory style dual exhaust. Original intake manifold, distributor carburetor, fuel tank, radiator all saved and included in sale.
Issue free fully restored car that needs nothing. 2022 Best in class at local VFW car show, Lapeer Mi. Includes Professionally framed original 1967 firebird magazine advertisement to display with the car. Extremely fun to drive, fast, drives straight down the road, turn key and go, stored in fully insulated, dry and climate controlled pole barn year round under a cover. Odometer shows approximately 65K miles, was approximately 60k at time of restoration, 5000 summer enjoyed miles since restoration.
