Vehicle Description

All vehicle trades considered including classics and performance.  We can assist with financing and shipping as needed.

This 1932 Ford roadster is not only one of the most iconic hot rod shapes of all time, but is also a very flexible car that offers many different looks.  Top up or down / on or off, engine bay open or enclosed, side panels on or off, Zoomie headers or rear exhaust; it’s like getting several different cars in one.

This car was built in California and sits on a custom steel frame with a fiberglass body and steel hood.  It is titled as a 1932 Ford and shows 12,000 miles.  The white paint with multi-tone blue flames and pinstriping is a fresh look you don’t often see, while the louvered side covers are painted to match.  There is also a blue fabric top with glass rear window that can be folded down or removed completely.  The chrome suspension pieces add to the car’s look as do the aluminum wheels.

The drivetrain uses a 350ci Chevy with a TH350 automatic transmission and Ford 9” rear end.  This is a well-proven recipe for any street car, and is especially potent in a lightweight street rod.  Two exhausts are provided, the first being a conventional rear setup with powder coated manifolds, while the second is an awesome set of ceramic coated Zoomie headers that bolt right on.  This car also has four-wheel disc brakes with 4-piston Wilwoods in front.  There is also a Mustang II style front end with rack and pinion steering, and the suspension uses adjustable coilovers front and rear.

The custom interior has just been redone in leather and features a two-tone bench seat with matching door panels with embossed flames.  Seat belts are also present.  The pinstriped dash is very orderly with a full set of retro looking VDO gauges.  There is also a sound system with Bluetooth hidden under the dashboard.  The steering column is a tilt setup which makes ingress/egress so much easier in a ‘32.  All lights and turn signals work properly as does the horn.  Note there are no wipers or side windows.

The 1932 Ford is one of the most popular hot rods in the world, and for good reason.  It not only has great lines but also represents the dawn of an era, when V8 power and the phrase “hot rod” began to take hold.  This one gives you lots of different options in a great looking package with proven, reliable parts.
