This 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow shows beautifully in her rare
and elegant two-tone livery and gorgeous Conolly leather interior.
This Rolls has been well maintained since new and runs and drives
beautifully. Shes very well detailed throughout and shows very
well. She would be a great addition to any collection for local
shows and tours. This Silver Shadow was shipped on the Mosel
Express and received at the New York port on the 17 th of January
1977. She was then acquired by Selma Hymowitz on February 22, 1977,
and transported to her home in Hollywood FL on March 1, 1977. She
was then acquired by Mr. A. Acker in New York on December 17, 1979,
with 11,352 miles from new. He owned her until 1985 having
accumulated 36,000 miles. Her most recent owner is from Scottsdale.
He acquired her in January of 2013 from Park-Ward Motors in IL. The
Rolls had been owned by the Rolls-Royce service technician that was
employed by Park-Ward Motors. He was impressed with how well she
had been maintained by the previous owners and owned her until
February of 2023. He thoroughly enjoyed driving her near his home
in Scottsdale, AZ, but drove her very little during his 10 years of
ownership. The Rolls has been well maintained and now has 96,000
miles. The two-tone livery of Walnut (Paint Code 9510261) and
Masons Black (Paint Code 9500701) has beautiful luster and shows
well overall. It appears to be an older repaint that looks in
overall very nice condition. This is a rare and elegant color
combination that we have not seen before. In the direct sunlight
the Walnut really comes to life and is very vibrant. The light gray
double pinstripe provides a nice touch of elegance. There are
several small imperfections from normal use. These are highlighted
in our photo gallery and are only noticeable upon close inspection.
The chrome and brightwork show well overall. The wheel discs are
accented in matching Walnut Brown and show well. The windows have
been recently tinted, lending sun protection and privacy. The
interior is in very nice overall condition featuring a very elegant
Dark Brown Conolly Leather (Trim Code VM-890) and Black Piping
(Trim Code 8500). The front seats have been professionally
reupholstered in matching high-quality leather. The leather overall
is in very nice condition and is soft and supple. The headliner is
Fawn and in very nice condition. The carpets are Dark Brown and
bound in Black and are in very nice condition. The leather dash is
in excellent condition as well as the burl walnut veneer with
inlays throughout. All the gauges show well and function properly.
There is minimal wear showing on the front compartment center
armrests. The interior shows very well overall. The engine
compartment and undercarriage are very well detailed and show well
overall. The 6.75 Liter V-8 motor produces 189 hp and performs
quietly and powerfully. The power is transferred to the independent
rear suspension through a General Motors sourced Turbo Hydramatic
400 Automatic transmission. She comes complete with rear
self-leveling Hydropneumatic suspension and rack and pinion
steering. She drives remarkably well. This Rolls received a
thorough inspection and servicing by British Automotive in
Scottsdale in February 2023. All of her important hoses and belts
were replaced along with a normal servicing. She comes complete
with early history records, numerous service records and the
original owners manual. For more information and details, please
