Panhard, formerly Panhard et Levassor, is one of the oldest car brands in the world. It was founded in 1886 by Émile Levassor and René Panhard and existed until 1967. A petrol car from Panhard et Levassor was the first to drive all over Paris (1891) and the first to cover the Paris-Nice route (1893).
They built all kinds of cars: from small passenger cars, sports and racing cars to luxury cars and so did this Panhard-Levassor Dynamic.
This car was built in 1938 and delivered new in France to its first owner. The second owner was a Panhard collector in Switzerland called Jurg Denzler, who had the car restored in 1980. The third and also last owner brought the car to the Netherlands in 2004 and has always had it maintained by the specialised Panhard-Levassor Garage in Heemskerk. He only drove it a few times a year including in 2008. Back then, this car was category winner of the Concours d'elegance 't Loo in Apeldoorn. A truly unique car in an even more unique condition.
