This 2007 Chrysler Crossfire Convertible is a one-owner car with
low miles, sleek paint, a loaded A/C interior, and a versatile
power package. And this way this feels like a premium European
drop-top out on the road is no accident - it's the secret reward to
the Chrysler-Benz.
Chrysler called the Crossfire convertible a "roadster" even though
it has quite a nice insulated power top and power windows to seal
it all up nicely. But the reason why this designation is still ok
to use is that this looks like a terrific drop-top machine. The
long hood and short rear are ideal roadster proportions. There are
terrific custom design details like the ribs in the hood, the
tapered lines of the trunk, and the central exhaust tips. And the
roof disappears basically without a trace behind a flying buttress
tonneau with dual roll hoops. So it looks like a true roadster
everywhere it arrives. So they certainly knew how to make something
stylish, and you can see it so well on this example. It's a
well-respected one-owner car that has well under 15k on the
odometer in total. That's why the factory-optional Blaze Red
Crystal Pearl radiates in the sunshine, the panels fit so nicely,
and the 15-spoke alloys shine so brightly. And the other reason why
this looks so good is because of the quality. This is from the
Daimler Chrysler era, and so it's a German-built car on a
Mercedes-Benz platform.
No matter if the roof is on or off, you will always have a
luxurious feeling inside this Crossfire. You have terrific features
like power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, cruise
control, dual front airbags, side airbags, and a premium AM/FM/CD
stereo system. Plus, the climate control can be individually
adjusted to give you and your passenger the ideal temperature. The
leather-wrapped steering wheel, tilt column, and crisp gauges are
there to make sure this always feels like a proper driver's car.
And the full presentation looks quite impressive because low
mileage means less use.
The 3.2-liter fuel-injected V6 under the hood was also a
Mercedes-Benz transplant, and it delivers smooth performance
befitting a car of this stature. In fact, all the mechanical bits
are lifted almost directly from the excellent Mercedes-Benz SLK
roadster. So you get a rock-solid platform, superior engineering,
and terrific performance. There is a lot of versatility in the full
package. You have a five-speed automatic transmission that is quick
with kick-downs into power or just smoothly delivers overdrive
cruising. And the German-engineered fully-independent suspension
works in harmony with the power steering and four-wheel power disc
brakes w/ABS for a feeling that's both comfortable and sharp.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker and the
owner's manual packet. The Crossfire is one of our favorite
"secret" modern classics. It's obviously not a secret that it
exists, but beneath the unique American lines there's a
German-engineered and German-built heart. So it's the kind of
well-respected drop-top that will make you want to add plenty to
the low odometer. Call today!!!
