Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible radiates a truly mean
style, and it's not just because of the custom bodywork. You have a
performance-built fuel-injected 496ci big block, the control of a
five-speed, and a freshly upgraded suspension. It all makes for a
car that's attractively coordinated, exceptionally sharp on the
streets, and awesomely powerful from the moment you even think
about touching the accelerator.
Black with a white racing stripe is an awesome way to show off a
speedy Stingray. It showcases both a high-contrast and
high-performance attitude. And as you dig into the details, you'll
see this is a convertible that loves to be driven. So it likes to
look good out on the streets without making you nervous about
enjoying it. And there are plenty of well-integrated details that
showcase this car's powerful style, like the custom chin spoiler
and classic-looking Rally wheels that are actually larger/modern
17-inch units. And we especially love the hood. It takes the
already impressive L88-style and adds an air scoop on top! But more
than just a powerful presence, there's also just a pleasant amount
of classic style. You see it in nice chrome bumpers, full polished
rockers, and the white roof that coordinates with the car's white
stripe.
When you take the roof down, you can see that more of the
attractive black and white style continues inside. So you have a
convertible that's thoughtfully coordinated with the top up or
down. The full presentation is a nice mix of style, comfort, and
performance in a driver-quality package. You'll see nice updates
everywhere from the good carpeting to the AM/FM stereo with
Bluetooth. But the real focus here is about being a driver's
machine. After all, the upgraded two-tone seats look cool, but
their real purpose is to give you terrific bolstering. You also
have an upgraded sports steering wheel on a tilt column, the
Stingray's excellent full gauges package, and a bright shifter with
an extra gear on the pattern that the factory never offered.
The engine bay is filled with awesome-looking power. It's a 454
cubic-inch big black that is said to be enlarged to 496ci total.
More than just a monster displacement you have nice features like
an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, a thick aluminum radiator, an
upgraded ignition system, and a header-fed dual exhaust. It has
even been topped up with a Holley sniper Electronic Fuel injection.
That means both greater power and a more reliable delivery! And to
make sure you have the best control over this enhanced motor, you
have an upgraded T5 five-speed manual transmission. There is a
receipt file showing over $27k in recent investment on this
Corvette, and over $15k of that was in the suspension alone! This
includes Ridetech tubular A-arms in front, and the rear upgraded to
control arms. There are also adjustable coilovers behind each
wheel, power steering, modern sport tires, and four-wheel power
disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.
This is an impressively fast drop-top C3 Corvette. So if you're
looking to rule the streets in a distinctive Stingray, call
today!
