Vehicle Description
1986 GMC Sierra 4x4
Why This Car Is Special
General Motor Company produced the first Sierra in 1975 as a
full-size pick-up truck for the Chevrolet C/K trim. The name Sierra
differentiated the various trims in this line, such as the Sierra
Classic and Sierra Grand.
The letter K denoted the model which had four-wheel drive, and the
letter C the rear-wheel drive models, ours is the K 4WD model.
The 1986 GMC 1500 Sierra Classic 4x4 we have at Skyway Classics is
a great truck with great red paint, raised stance, great tires and
Rally wheels, and V8 power.

Our GMC has a 350 cubic inch engine and everything in this engine
compartment appears to be stock including the factory three speed
automatic transmission, factory black painted air cleaner assembly,
power steering, power brakes, air conditioning system, hoses, and
the dual exhaust system.
It runs and drives extremely well as the transmission shifts on the
mark through all the gears and into 4WD properly and sits in a very
clean and detailed engine compartment that looks factory fresh and
it rides on black sidewall tires and GMC factory wheels with trim
rings and caps.
Interior
The bright red interior is very clean and looks as new with its red
bench seat with upholstery, factory dash with all the correct
gauges and controls, GMC black steering wheel, air conditioning,
4WD shifter, pushbutton radio, red carpet, seatbelts, and floor
mats.
The Sierra also came with electronic cruise control, power door
locks and power windows.
Exterior
Our 1986 has the bright red exterior paint that is in great shape.
The 1986 truck had a revised grill design which had a thicker
horizontal divider, rear and front bumpers, even has a painted red
bed with the trunk bed mat and the rear spare tire underneath the
rear bumper.
