This 1956, Desert Rose and Cream, Chevy Bel Air is an excellent cruiser. The engine has been updated with a 327ci V8 and automatic transmission, which was service 4,000 miles ago. Not only does it fire right up, but shift smooth with no jerks or hesitation. Combined with power steering and Vintage Air, you are ready to hit the road with all mechanics of the car working flawlessly and all maintenance up to date. New tires with matching, painted wheels all around, all windows are aligned and adjust, inner trunk painted to match, flawless and matching interior with all working gauges minus the Clock (A new clock is included with sale). All seats, carpet, and door panels are free and clear of rips and tears. This local, Mississippi car has had the pleasure of only 3 owners and all knew each other well. Extensive service and mileage records have been kept on this vehicle and it comes with a clean, Mississippi title. Some of the major and larger brite work, such as the bumpers have been re-chromed, other smaller pieces such as the grille have very light pitting but not visible without very close inspection.
The interior underwent a complete restoration in 2008 as well as new cream paint added, while the original Desert Rose still remains nearly flawless after all these years. Aftermarket speakers were tastefully added with matching shrouds in the kick panels and are powered by AUX hookups that support a headphone jack and iphone/ipod connections. The original radio is left intact but does not work. A custom vintage style, period looking mirror was added to the car for ease of switching lanes and backing into parking spots. Nearly all factory paperwork is intact included documents from the original dealership.
