This 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS 4X4 Z71 Club Cab pickup was
purchased new in Twin Falls, ID, and remained in that area through
3 responsible owners until our recent acquisition.
It presents itself in Pewter Metallic exterior paint over Beige
interior. The truck is powered by Chevrolet's proven 5.3 liter V8
engine, automatic transmission with overdrive and 4-wheel drive.
The truck is highly optioned to include: Power steering, power
brakes, power windows, power locks, power seats, power mirrors,
AM/FM/CD factory stereo, captain style front buckets with fold down
center console, overhead console with reading lamps, compass and
temp, Quad-Cab style rear entry doors, rear folding bench seat,
optional factory aluminum wheels, tow package, Z71 off road
equipment, chrome step rear bumper, front tow hooks, fiberglass
matching topper, spray in bedliner, etc. Today at just 151256
miles, the truck remains in excellent overall condition.
Mechanically, the truck is turnkey and ready for immediate use. It
starts and runs great, transmission shifts smooth, the
electronically actuated 4-wheel drive engages flawlessly, the
steering and suspension are tight, and it brakes straight.
Cosmetically, the truck stands tall. The factory paint remains deep
and glossy, the panel fit is excellent, of course there are some
small bumps and bruises given age and use, but overall excellent.
The interior is clean in all areas, slight wear in expected areas
(driver seat and carpet), the engine and engine bay are very clean
and tidy and the underside is rock solid.
In an age where new truck prices are ridiculous and price many
people out of the market, clean examples of this generation of
Chevrolet trucks are very appealing. They are extremely reliable
and are known for longevity. It is not uncommon to see examples
with over 300,000 miles and still going strong. The truck here
offers many uses, is highly optioned, and has so much to give at a
fraction of the cost of new.
