Vehicle Description
1964 Buick Skylark found this car in Tennessee and fell in love
with it. I bought and paid for it sight unseen and don't regret it
a bit. It was exactly as they described it. This is an automatic
with a 400 bored and stroked to a 462. It is a mild build with a
slight stall converter. Idles great in gear. Th400 transmission.
Upgraded 10 bolt rear end. Not Posi. Power steering and brakes. New
wheels that are 18's up front and 20's rear. It's an AC cab but no
compressor etc. has heat and all the functions, just no air.
Interior is in fabulous condition with no tears etc. Don't know
much about the stereo. Has a hidden amp behind the rear seat but
the sub is no good. Looks like it's all wired properly. Trunk pan
is good. All floor pans are good as well. It's a southern car so
the only rust is a small spot in the rear of the passenger quarter.
Doors and hands and around all windows are good as well. It'sa
perfect cruise car and would do well at shoes. Everything is done
super clean. Paint is still an 8 out of 10. If this was repainted
to be perfect it would be worth a bunch more! The clear coat is
super shiny etc. This car has the rare working tachometer in the
hood even!!! Speedometer works. Windows all work properly with good
weather seals. Headliner is great. Carpet is as well. Engine
starts, isles and runs perfectly!!! Tires are like new. The shifter
is on the column as it would be from factory. I would say it
probably has 3:08 gearing as it is great on the hwy. The
transmission shifts great. The car rides like a Caddy. Please Note
