Vehicle Description
Zoom Classic Cars is extremely proud to present this absolutely
flawless 1969 Jaguar XKE Low Coupe. With its matching numbers,
silky smooth dual overhead cam in line six cylinder engine, and
factory 4 speed manual transmission this car is an absolute
stunner. A true Survivor quality example of one of the most sought
after iconic sports cars of all time. The Jaguar Heritage
Certificate indicates that the car was built in June of 1969 and
then imported to the United States, sold new in New York and then
subsequently lived most of its early life in Refugio Texas. The
last year of registration was 1980 as indicated by the window
sticker still in place. From Texas the car fell into the hands of a
respected collector from Asbury Park, NJ for over 20 years although
he seldom used it. Several years ago the current owner/collector
secured its purchase and has lovingly and respectfully brought this
classic to its current condition as follows. The Etype was
entrusted to Ed Miller of Stormville NY where he was given
liberties to bring the car to its current cosmetic and mechanical
condition. The seller have receipts amounting to about 15,000
dollars, all done in the past 6 months. A compression check was
done on the engine and the perfect results were recorded by Mr.
Miller. Once again - a true survivor car. The engine bay represents
what a properly maintained original mechanical Etype should look
like. The rotisserie restoration crowd frequently looks for engine
compartments such as this so that after they disassemble a car they
can see what it was originally supposed to look like!!The Willow
Green paint is mostly original and there is no evidence of any
trauma to the body panels. This is one of the most desirable color
combinations. Rust is not a consideration. Its Cinnamon Connolly
leather is totally original. Wilton carpeting as well. It enjoys
its original Philips push button AM/FM transistor stereo radio. The
brightwork shows well despite its 53 year age. All 5 tires are new
as well as a Lucas 12V Battery. Rebuilt carb, all new wires &
plugs.Choke the dual carbs, pump it once and fire this magnificent
British world class sports car. All the gauges and interior lights
work. Fill it up with high octane and drive it home. The car is
located in Bedford Village, NY (about an hour from Manhattan). Call

long!
