Vehicle Description
Time to take home your ideal muscle car cruiser. This is a
real-deal 1969 Oldsmobile 442 coupe that offers enhanced V8 power,
four-on-the-floor, a great color combo, and a comfy A/C interior.
It all makes for that right mix of powerful and comfortable that
you love in a proper Olds muscle car.
Crimson Red is the factory-correct color for the car, and it has
been resprayed to make sure it remains an attention-grabber. So
there's a good gloss that lets the light show off the big flares in
the fenders and the fastback-like rear. But this one never wants to
get too fancy that you'd ever hesitate to hit the streets in this
442. In fact, as you look inside and out, you'll see it's a
detail-oriented coupe that was made to be fully enjoyed. For
example, we love how the black pinstripe highlights some nice
details on the body, and it goes well with the black roof. And
while this highlights the hardtop profile like a vinyl top, this is
painted a matte finish for easier care. The brightwork appears
complete and attractive on the bumpers, emblems, and wheel well.
And we especially love this year's Olds for the trim line that
starts at the headlights and highlights the best curves of the
profile. And details like the Super Stock wheels and wide dual
exhaust tips notched into the rear bumper make for an attractive
442. So it's all about giving you a car you can drive with
pride.
The black accents of the outside are also a preview of the full
black interior. The trim tag tells us this is all part of the
factory-correct color package, and it keeps a vintage presentation
right down to the working dome light. The textured bucket seats,
door panels, and carpeting are all clean while keeping a
cruiser-ready attitude. So it's easy to share this car with family
and friends. There are comfort upgrades like a custom wooden center
console with cup holders (removable), a pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo,
and cold-blowing Vintage Air air conditioning with a new compressor
to keep everyone happy. But this is a true 442, and so you know you
don't need anyone else along for the ride to keep you happy. That's
because it's a coupe focused on you with features like a Hurst
floor shifter, a handy tach, and cleanly installed auxiliary
readouts under the dash.
Under the hood is a period-correct 400 cubic-inch V8. It's upgraded
for power with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock
intake. And as you look around the engine bay, you'll spot more
worthwhile investments, including a Champion aluminum radiator,
electric fans, and a new alternator. The V8 fires up readily and
idles nicely for a nice muscle car sound out of the dual exhaust
and Magnaflow mufflers. It's the kind of full power package where
you just know a weekend tune-up will also unleash the power you
love in a 442. Plus, you have complete control over the power and
rumbling soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission.
There's also power steering, power brakes front discs, and sway
bars front & rear for the right confidence out on road.
This is the classic muscle car that loves to hit the road and keep
you feeling comfy and in control. That makes for quite an
attractive way to drive an icon. Call today!!!
