Zoom Classic Cars is very happy to list this multiple show-winning
1948 Willy's Jeepster in absolutely exceptional condition. The
Jeepster was purchased from a collection and currently has 16,000
original miles on it. A full frame-off repair and paint job was
done 8 years ago bringing this classic back to showroom condition
hence it's multiple show trophies. The wagon runs with the classic
Willy's "Go-Devil" straight 4-cylinder engine made famous in WWII,
which is accompanied by a Manual 3 speed transmission equipped with
optional Overdrive. Aside from 4 brand new tires, the Willy was
fully stripped, straightened, primed, and painted with full clear
coat - zero rust, corrosion, or bondo patchwork - a beautifully
restored shell with a full undercarriage protective coating
applied. All bumpers and chrome are original and in excellent
condition. The interior was upholstered in excellent condition as
is the carpeting. The originally issued radio is not currently
installed but does comes with the sale. As expected, the Jeepster
starts, runs, stops, shifts, and drives flawlessly. As the pictures
show, the only piece of attention this car needs are the snaps on
rear left of canvas top. This is a great example of a quirky
classic brought back to it's full potential with no expense spared,
and has been cared for, garaged, and covered it's entire life. The
Jeepster is located in Islip, NY and is available to show in person
or virtually.
