Vehicle Description
A good Jeep is as dependable and rugged as your favorite pair of
Levi's jeans. So Jeep/AMC really took that to heart with the
special Levi's interior, and this 1980 Jeep CJ7 Renegade keeps that
spirit while also giving you some nice upgrades.
This Jeep has led an interesting life so far. We're told it was
sold new in Beverly Hills, California, before speeding years in the
open sky country of Utah. And that just seems right for this Jeep.
It's a premium Levi's edition It's a premium that has a quality
respray of the factory-correct Saxon Yellow. There's even an
upgraded shine from pieces like the chrome grille and LED
headlights. And the blue Renegade strobe stripe has a blue fade
like your favorite pair of jeans. But this is not pure Beverly
Hills fancy. Instead, it's a true 4x4 with handy features like a
Warn winch, side steps, rear tow-hitch, Renegade fender flares, and
a full-size spare on a swing-away mount. Plus, the full hardtop and
hard doors are both stylish and handy - just like this CJ.
The trim tag is what tells us this is a true Levi's edition. That
means it came with upholstery done in blue denim-like material. In
fact, the door cards, roll bar padding, sun visors, and dash pad
all have the vintage look that coordinates. But today you'll notice
that today the upholstery has been redone with newer Black Mountain
seating. It's nice because the more comfortable/newer upholstery
makes this quite practical, and if you really want a full Levi's
Jeep there's a large aftermarket that can source the covers.
There's a premium feeling to the full package with nice details,
like a center console, a Renegade-correct tach, newer carpeting,
and an upgraded retro-style AM/FM stereo. The basic feeling is that
you have a proper vintage 4x4 but with added comfort and
distinction.
Under the hood is Jeep's 258ci/4.2-liter inline-six looking quite
honest and correct. As you fully inspect the engine bay, the newer
plugs, wires, distributor, hoses, belts, and other fundamentals
tell the story of proper care. That's why this has a robust feel
from the moment you start it up. You take full control with the
four-speed manual transmission. Plus, power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and an overall solid driving feel make this great for
cruising around town. And of course, the two-speed 4x4 transfer
case and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As make sure it's off-road ready
from day one.
Complete with the owner's manual, this is the distinct, and useful
classic Jeep that's properly done to showcase its unique style on
and off the pavement. Call today!!!
