When you are looking at any vintage vehicle, eye appeal might be
the first thing you notice. When you look at a Datsun from the 60's
or 70's it is almost impossible to not grin with excitement as you
imagine driving them. They were built to compete in SCCA racing and
for the country cruiser on those great days to enjoy with the wind
and sun in your face.
We are pleased to bring to market this stunning little two seater
with style. This 1970 Datsun 1600 was a recipient to a nice
restoration with new seat covers, paint, chrome, engine updates and
electronics. Pull the choke, turn the key and with a few cranks
this peppy roadster comes alive. The modified exhaust sounds
awesome and it hustles thru the gears with ease. Vehicle has a new
soft top that is in excellent shape and fits great. The factory
14in wheels with hubcaps are clean and stylish. Under the hood you
will find a tidy and detailed engine bay with dual SU carbs with
painted air cleaner.
Our test drive and inspection revealed that these items were
working great, choke, lights, horn, heater fan, and gauges. The
original radio turns on and picks up some static and some distant
noise but not as sexy as the engine noise. Jump in and enjoy
something different then others on the road as there were less than
4k of these built in 1970 and hard to find in such nice
condition.
