Straight from the ranch in Montana, GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this one-owner, highly original, highly-optioned 1974 Dodge D200 3/4-ton 4x4 pickup for consideration. The truck is powered by its 318 CID engine, 727 automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive. It was purchased new on 1-23-1974 at Ellsworth Brothers, Inc. of Idaho Falls, ID, by a cattle rancher from West Yellowstone, MT, whose family has been in the area for generations, served as a politician, and established a legacy in the area - a real-life John Dutton, perhaps? The truck remained in the hands of the original owner until our recent acquisition.

The truck has original miles of 97,769, and its condition and presentation back this up. The cab retains its original factory sheet-metal and Light Blue paint, with an original black interior and white factory steel wheels. The interior remains extremely original, including rubber flooring, door panels, original dash, and original steering wheel. The bench seat may have been recovered, but it's hard to tell. The pickup bed was converted to a flatbed approximately ten or so years ago. Factory options include power steering, power brakes, factory air, HD radiator, bench seat, rubber floor, high and low gear 4-wheel drive, etc. Other goodies include a CB radio, rooftop spotlight, tow brake, plow set up, etc.

Cosmetically, the truck is quite remarkable in its original presentation, with a few bumps and bruises as one would expect, but the paint remains deep and glossy as the truck was kept indoors when not in use. The original interior presents excellent, the engine bay is tidy, and the frame and underside are dry and rock-solid. Mechanically, the truck is fantastic, running, driving, and performing as it should and is ready to go to work for you. Recently, the truck received new tires and a new exhaust, and routine services and maintenance were performed.
