Seller reports this car to have the numbers matching 383 Magnum V8
and 727 Automatic Transmission. To enhance the performance of the
original 2bbl carburetor, a 4 barrel dual plane aluminum intake
topped with an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. The dual plane intake
provides a better idle quality, off-idle throttle tip-in response,
and better air/fuel charge distribution to the cylinders at low
rpm. Power is supplied to the Sure Grip differential for good
driving performance. The aftermarket dual exhaust with side pipes
provide an awesome from the 383 V8.
The solid body has had a repaint to the original dark blue color
and the seller reports the body is rust free. The car sits on
P295/50/R15 Cooper Cobra Tires with Chrome Rims for an awesome
stance and look. The original interior presents with normal wear
associated with a 50 year old car! A couple dash cracks are present
and the front bucket seat upholstery is in need of attention.
While the car does have some non-stock items(intake manifold and
carburetor, side pipes and tach), the exhaust can be changed as
desired and the original intake and carburetor are included with
the car. In addition, extra parts come with the car including 2
doors with glass, gauges, 2 instrument panels, extra carburetors,
wiring, valve covers, dash panel, intake parts, and other assorted
interior components.
The second generation Charger is very popular on the market
currently, and this Charger presented at auction is a nice addition
to any collection or garage as a driver!
