This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Sports Coupe, matching numbers, is powered by a 348 C.I. V8 paired with a
two-speed automatic transmission and underwent a body-off refurbishment
completed in 2020. Work included repainting the body Glen Green and the top white,
the original colors, retrimming the green vinyl and tri-color cloth interior, rebuilding the
Engine, transmission & brakes, and replacing the dual exhaust system (Stainless steel),
tires, wiring harness & fuel tank. Equipment includes triple two-barrel carburetors,
14” steel wheels with full covers, white wall tires, power steering & brakes, chrome
trim, the wraparound windshield is original to show the California sticker on the
passenger side corner, new windows and door handles and push button AM radio.
This impala was acquired by current owner in 2012 and is now offered for sale in
Canada with Ontario registration.
Features include bright accents on the bumpers, side mouldings, window surrounds,
grille, and light surrounds, as well as dual antennas, quadruple headlights, side mirrors,
tail fins.
The car is equipped with power steering along with power assisted four-wheel
drum brakes, stainless steel brake lines, replacing tie-rods, suspension bushings &
balljoints. The front & rear bench seating were trimmed in green vinyl with tri-color
cloth inserts, bright trim lines on the dashboard, additional equipment includes
rubber floor mats, a heater, etc. The green rimmed steering wheel features a full horn
ring and fronts a 120-MPH speedometer & gauges displaying coolant temperatures &
fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 2,333 miles traveled since the refurbishing
was completed. The oil was changed in September 2022. The car does not have a
title & is registered in a Province that does not issue titles for vehicles, it is being sold
on Ontario registration & represented in the Canadian Hot Rod Magazine in 2020,
