Vehicle Description
1965 Dodge Coronet 500
VIN: W455189000
Complete Frame Off Rotisserie Restoration
Rebuilt 383 V8
Rebuilt Automatic Transmission
All Original Sheet Metal!
This stunning 1965 Dodge Coronet is presented at auction having
just finished a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. So
recent that only around 20 miles have been put on the car since
completion! The car was in very good condition before restoration
with no wrecks and very minimal rust ( 3 pin holes above left rear
wheel opening). All inner and outer panels, sheet metal, floor and
trunk pans were solid so this car retains 100% of its original
metal!
Highlighting the quality of the work, the car was totally
dissembled. The under body was stripped and has fresh undercoating.
Paint is single stage in the original color of Daffodil Yellow and
shows really well. New weather stripping all around and the fit and
finish of the body lines and panels is very good. Front and rear
bumpers were re-chromed and all bright work polished for that crisp
look!
The engine was disassembled and completely rebuilt with aluminum
heads, 4 barrel intake manifold and stock exhaust manifold. For
that sound that captures your attention, the car has complete new
dual exhaust from front to rear.
All mechanical parts were replaced including bearings, bushings,
etc. The front end sports all new suspension parts with front
brakes upgraded to disc, with drum brakes in the rear. The car sits
on new 15" American Racing Wheels and brand new tires.
The interior is stunning with all new components as would come as
original. The new front and rear seat upholstery, door panels,
carpet and headliner provide the finishing touch to this beautiful
Coronet 500!
All receipts chronicling the build comes with vehicle.
This car to be collected from Billings, Montana.
